Hillside Transformation: From Overgrown Ditch Lilies to a Shade-Friendly Retreat
This hillside landscape was originally covered with ditch lilies, but as the area received more shade than sun, the client desired a fresh, updated look. They requested the removal of all ditch lilies, the division and replanting of their existing hostas, and a thoughtful new design to complement the hillside's unique features.

By the serene pond, a massive garden bed will unfold, offering a 360-degree vantage point of botanical beauty. Pathways will meander through the garden, inviting exploration and discovery. A cozy bench will provide the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the harmonious blend of nature's splendor and the calming view of the pond. This expansive garden will feature a variety of large shrubs and slender Firespire hornbeams, along with striking long-blooming roses. A medley of white, yellow, and purple flowers will create a vibrant and dynamic display, further accentuated by strategically placed boulders, creating a cohesive and captivating landscape.
